Task:

As your final task for this week, create a PSA (Public Service Announcement) video about what to do when facing haters online. It can be a motivational quote, a personal experience story or just a piece of advice.

But what is a PSA video ANYWAY?

It is a video created to raise awareness and change public attitudes and behavior toward a social issue. They often have a powerful and persuasive message.

First things first!

The first step to create your video is to write down a script with the text you will record. You can practice writing your draft in the document your teacher will send you the link to. Make a copy, edit it with your answer in the "write your video script here section" and send it back to your teacher using the communication means you already have (email, whatsapp, link sharing etc).

The next step is to record it, but first...

Some important features before recording your PSA video:

• They don’t need many spoken words to be powerful (be creative!);
• They often have very dramatic camera angles;
• They often have mood-evoking music;
• They usually last around 60 seconds or less;
• They feature a problem and a solution;
• They have a call to action (invite people to join in your campaign!).
